He joined AESMA in January 2016. As a former Army officer, with a 20-year background in French Ministry of Defense analysis departments, he has occupied various positions related to China studies. He spent 8 years both in mainland China and Taiwan.

Eric Vincent GRILLON is involved in academic or public contracted studies focusing on Chinese military power, regional influence and foreign policy.

He graduated in Chinese and international relations from INALCO (National Institute for Oriental Languages and Civilizations) in Paris.
